Online reading has become more popular in China. Chinese mobile users spent a total of over three billion hours on online reading in December 2018, around 26 billion minutes more than in the same period of the previous year. The number of monthly mobile unique devices in the online reading sector exceeded 394 million. The animation, humor, and audiobook sectors made up together a hundred million unique devices.
