It is estimated that in the United Kingdom (UK), the number of new policies (B2C) in the life, annuities and payment protection insurance industry will have fallen by approximately four million policies between 2018 and 2024.
Although still decreasing, the overall share of life, annuities and payment protection insurance policies taken out online has been forecast to grow slightly during this period by one percent.
