Domestic consumption of grain in Russia 2015-2018, by type
Domestic consumption volumes of major grains in Russia grew gradually between 2015 and 2017. In 2018, a fall in consumption rates of all the listed commodities was recorded in the country. Wheat accounted for the largest consumption volume, marking nearly 40 million tons consumed nationwide in 2018, versus 44.4 million tons consumed in 2017.
