In Europe, in 2020, it was estimated that nurses spent on average 75 percent of their time interacting with patients and the rest of their time on administrative or regulatory activities. However, with the implementation of AI technologies in healthcare, it has been forecast that nurses would be able to spend around 7.5 percent more of their time with patients. Indeed, AI should reduce the time burden of administrative and regulatory tasks.
