As of 2023, Nigeria's labor force consisted of about 89 million people. Around 29 million people concluded secondary school, representing the most numerous group. Individuals who finished primary school added up to some 23.1 million. In 2020, the lowest unemployment rate in Nigeria was recorded among individuals who achieved vocational or commercial training. Among people with higher education, unemployment figures was particularly high.
