Sales value breakdown of the footwear market in France 2020, by retail channel
In 2020, most of the sales made by the footwear sector in France were achieved in sports stores (29.5 percent). Chain stores boutiques and independent retailers each accounted for 12 percent of this turnover. Food superstores accounted for 5.5 percent of sales. In 2021, the French footwear market is expected to achieve a turnover exceeding nine billion euros.
