In 2023, the Qatar National Bank (QNB) had the highest value of assets of banks in the Middle East and Africa region. Most of the banks with the highest volume of assets in their balance sheet had their headquarters in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Israel, and South Africa. However, there were also entries in the ranking from banks from Egypt and Turkey.
