In a survey conducted in Israel in January 2025, 41 percent of the respondents, less than the majority, stated that they were optimistic about the future of the Israeli national security. This was a sharp decrease compared to the previous month. Over the observed period, the share of individuals with an optimistic view ranged between 52 percent and 26 percent.

The most recent survey was conducted between January 28 and February 2, 2025. The sample included 604 Hebrew speakers and 151 Arabic speakers, forming a nationally representative sample of Israel’s adult population. The maximum margin of error is ±3.57% at a 95% confidence level.
The respondents were asked the question: How do you feel about Israel's security situation in the foreseeable future?
