Monthly wholesale electricity prices in Czechia 2019-2024

In September 2024, the average wholesale electricity price in Czechia stood at some 82 euros per megawatt-hour. Between January 2021 and August 2022, the country was impacted by the energy supply shortage that severely impacted Europe, resulting in a price increase peaking at 476 euros per megawatt-hour.
