According to a survey conducted in March 2024, the burden of the usage fees was one of the main reasons for South Korean Over-the-Top video service subscribers to cancel their membership, with 61 percent of respondents answering that way. Another roughly 51 percent of respondents answered their reason was that they had already watched all the content they had wanted to watch.
