In total, 50 percent of the immigrants in a survey in Norway agreed with the statement that immigrants are discriminated against in society. However, there are differences between immigrants from different countries; one fourth of the Somalis completely agreed with the statement, compared to only 11 percent of Poles. Moreover, 35 percent of Poles somewhat disagreed. Of the general population, close to 50 percent of the respondents agreed that immigrants in Norway are discriminated against.
