Inbound visitor growth in CEE 2021-2025

The number of inbound visitors in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) was expected to grow by over 27 percent in 2024 and by around 20 percent in the following year. In 2022, a significantly higher growth rate was recorded in the subregion of Central and Baltic Europe, at more than 90 percent. The growth rate was higher in that subregion because inbound travel to Eastern European countries Russia and Ukraine declined due to the war in Ukraine.
