In 2022, just under a third of German consumers stated that they planned to reduce their consumption of pork in the coming years. Similar numbers of consumers in the country also intended to reduce sausage (29 percent) and beef and veal (27 percent) consumption. Consumers showed the least interest in reducing their game consumption.
