In the financial year ending March 2024, the London Underground operated around 78 million vehicle kilometers. This was an increase compared to the two previous years, when vehicle kilometers were still substantially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Vehicle kilometers remained below levels recorded prior to the pandemic in the financial years ending in 2019 and 2020 when vehicle kilometers lay above 80 million.
