In 2023, Latin America produced over 58 million metric tons of meat. Poultry accounted for 29.5 million metric tons, while beef and veal accounted for about 18.5 million metric tons.
It was expected that meat production would reach over 65.5 million metric tons in 2033, of which around 34 million are expected to be of poultry meat.
