Chrome has over the past decade overtaken IE and Firefox to become the most widely used internet browser (desktop, tablet, mobile and console) in Europe. It's market share reached about 60 percent in 2023. IE's decline in the browser market in Europe is dramatic: from more than 46 percent in 2009 to just over 0.1 percent in 2023.
