Combined revenue from passenger revenue on the London Underground stood at 2.5 billion British pounds in 2023/24.Ticket revenues had collapsed among the COVID-19 pandemic but had recovered to around 92 percent of pre-pandemic revenues in 2023/24.

In 2024, adult passengers paid 6.70 British pounds for a single journey in any zone when paying in cash, while single tickets for a child sold for 3.30 British pounds. By comparison, Oyster and contactless ticket prices were noticeably cheaper, with the cheapest off-peak ticket only costing 2.70 British pounds.
Passenger satisfaction at 76%
A quarterly TfL survey on satisfaction levels with the London Underground shows that users had a less positive experience during and following the COVID-19 pandemic than prior to the pandemic. Satisfaction rates dropped from the region of 84 percent pre-pandemic to around 76 percent post-pandemic.
