Public approval of UK air strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria by age group

This statistic shows public opinion by age distribution on September 24 to 25, 2014, on whether the RAF should join the US-led air strike operations against Islamic State/ISIS in Iraq and/or Syria. Younger participants, from the 18 to 24 age range, were the most against any air strikes, although 40 percent thought that the RAF should participate. From the 60+ age category, respondents were more likely to approve of an Iraq only campaign (9 percent), than a Syria only mission (1 percent).
