As of December 2022, Ontario had the most specialty food retailers among all provinces in Canada - there were 2,817 stores located in Canada’s most populous province. Quebec and British Columbia ranked in second and third places, with a total of 2,195 and 1,247 stores respectively. Nunavut had no specialty food stores at that time.
