A survey conducted during the third quarter of 2024 found that over 67 percent of internet users worldwide played video games on smartphones, making it the most popular gaming device. PC gaming via laptop or desktop was ranked second, with a 34.7 percent usage rate. Gaming consoles were the third most commonly used device, with 23.7 percent of internet users opting for them
