Annual average B2B payment delay in 21 countries in Europe 2015-2023

Payment terms for B2B customers largely went down in 2023, when compared to the increases after the coronavirus pandemic. Overdue payments were now most likely to occur in Ireland, with B2B transactions now taking over 60 days to complete on average. The wait for payments was lowest in Switzerland, where the delay took about 28 days.
