The graph shows the results of a survey carried out in 2011 and 2015 in Brazil to determine where book buyers had purchased books. In 2015, 44 percent of respondents who bought books stated that they had purchased them in physical bookstores.
* In 2011, the categories "Physical bookstores" and "Online bookstores" were included under the same category, "Bookstores". The option "Bookstores" was chosen by 65 percent of respondents in 2011. The survey was carried out by means of face-to-face interviews and Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI).
