Share of South Koreans who expect unification will benefit society 2007-2023

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, about 53.6 percent of respondents stated that they thought unification with North Korea will benefit South Korean society. The perception that society would benefit from unification peaked in 2019 at nearly 62 percent.
