By 2025, the U.S. grocery retailer Kroger is expected to double its online sales. According to a forecast, the e-commerce sales are to increase from the current six percent share in 2020 to 11 percent in 2025. The discount share will remain stable at five percent, while supermarkets and neighbourhood stores are forecast to report lower values, accounting for 61 percent of Kroger's net sales as of 2025.
