In 2023, international tourism spending in Belgium was 14.8 percent lower than in 2019, the year before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, the expenditure of inbound travelers in the country amounted to around 9.2 billion euros in 2023. This figure was expected to reach an estimated 10.5 billion euros in 2024.
