Gross solar photovoltaic electricity production in Italy 2012-2023

Italy's electricity generation from solar photovoltaic amounted to 30,700 gigawatt-hours in 2023. Throughout the period in consideration, figures increased by almost 11,000 gigawatt hours. The country was one of the major producers of solar PV electricity in the European Union in 2023.
