This statistic presents the results of a survey on perceived India's economic ranking among the world's top 200 countries as of October 2018. According to data published by Ipsos, Indian respondents underestimated their country's global economic ranking. On average, the respondents thought that India's GDP ranked number 50 among top 200 countries, when actually India was the seventh largest economy in the world.
