Colombia: coffee products gross production value 2014-2022

In 2022, the production value of coffee products in Colombia amounted to 14.28 trillion Colombian pesos, representing an increase of about 42 percent compared to the previous year. Between 2014 and 2022, the gross production value of coffee increased by 230 percent.

Colombia is one of the largest producers in the world and the second-largest coffee producer in the region. The departments of Huila, Antioquia, and Tolima are some of the regions in the country with the largest coffee cultivating area.

Each year, Colombia exports more than 10 million 60-kg bags of coffee. Among the top countries of destination for coffee exports are the United States, Germany, and Belgium. Colombia also imports coffee to cover national demand, with Peru being the leading country of origin for coffee imports.
