Bussey Rooftop Bar
The rooftop bar in Peckham’s Bussey Building is a great place to get a drink with friends and watch the sunset. There’s a rooftop cinema next door.
Frank’s Cafe
Frank’s Cafe in Peckham is a rooftop bar with the most impressive view of the London skyline, and has the added bonus of serving reasonably priced drinks.
Bao
The bao are what makes this Taiwanese joint legendary, but the small plates are even better. The queues at Bao are an official Soho landmark.
Sushi Tetsu
Tetsu is a tiny, intimate sushi counter in Clerkenwell serving some of the best sushi in town. Go for the omakase. It isn’t cheap, but it’s worth it.
Marksman
Marksman is a pub/restaurant with excellent, elevated British food in Shoreditch. It’s good anytime, but don’t miss the Sunday roast.
Padella
Padella serves brilliant, freshly made pasta at very good prices. If you’re in London Bridge or Borough Market, make this a part of your plan.

A classic London gastropub perfect for a Sunday roast and a few drinks in Parliament Hill.
