SEAReview
Though Pioneer Square doesn't have a whole lot of upscale Italian places, there's no need to go out of your way for Bar Sosta. We'd be fine messing around with a glass of wine and a passable margherita pie in the white marble-inundated space only to avoid the divey pre-game bars in the neighborhood. The pizzas have a tasty chew and the salads are nicely dressed, but you should pass on the gummy and flavorless lasagna, unless you’ve never had a hot airplane meal mid-flight to Italy and are curious what that’s like.
What our ratings mean
It’s fine: 6s can get the job done (depending on the job). There’s a strong 'BUT' or caveat as to why this place is acceptable, but not a first choice.
