Seattle doesn't thrive in the nightclub department—our going-out scene sooner involves breweries or dive bars. And the nightclubs we do have tend to suck. But not The Woods.
This Capitol Hill spot with two levels of dance floors, disco balls, smoke machines, and strobe lights is absolutely the place to let loose and dance your ass off. There are also plenty of nooks to hang out in with a glass of soda water after you pull a muscle at Emo Nite and need a moment to regroup. There's usually a cover, and you will most likely have to wait in line on a Friday or Saturday night, but by the time you start to feel tempted by Seattle dog smells, you're already inside.
