I have had websites for over 20 years and have used many hosts. I joined Hostinger in 2021 and recently my sites are absolutely crippled with the speed of the server. Hosting has changed my server 3 times in the last 60 days and it has not improved. My site was down for a few days, because of an error on their end, and it cost me hundreds of dollars in revenue. They did not care. I created a new Wordpress blog, with nothing on it, and the server could not load it quickly. The customer service is usually not bad if you get the right person, but there are not many of them and it can take hours for them to respond. Recently they hired a young guy whom I’ve gotten 3 times and he is useless. Seems to have zero training. I will definitely be finding a new host asap. I can’t afford to stay with them.

While we have used HostGator a while now; we have had ups and downs with issues that leave one (proverbially) chasing their tail. But today, Meghana was amazing (tech support extraordinaire) applied the most professional, courteous, and thoughtful help I have ever experienced at HostGator and to top it off--we communicated using the chat interface. In the past, telephone calls to HostGator were at best—touch and go! Recently, our website went down when billing & payments didn't sync with ICANN's timeline (certainly a fault that began at our end), still after making the required payments and doing as instructed, it was forecast that it would be 48 - 72 hours to propagate, ...fast forward to 5 days later in our continued downtime, we had the good fortune of connecting with Meghana. At the end of our session I felt more knowledgeable about what was happening and how it would be resolved, then informed that time to propagate was really out of our control... Still, Meghana hung in there to answer all of our questions and to help us understand ...and even shared resources at HostGator, Meghana exceeded expectations... An hour later, our website is back up and running, so I will keep trying to work with HostGator; today thanks goes to Meghana. We appreciate it and we appreciate YOU! We hope that HostGator appreciates you too!
