Joining this program has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. This company has done absolutely nothing but make my mental health worse. If you’re going to attempt to work with Thriveworks DO NOT see Shannan Herman. She does not listen, is extremely condescending, has to be constantly right and is very very pushy. Avoid this woman at all costs. She made my mental health plummet and shouldn’t even be allowed to hold a degree. She told me several times that “If I wanted to get better, then I’ll get better” When I told her that I have debilitating insomnia and treated me like some teen who stays up on their phone all night when that is NOT the case. I ended up having a panic attack after my session because of how rude she was being towards me. She wasted my mother’s money. My family and I are thinking about suing at this point. Do not ever let a “professional” make you feel like they know your and your body more than YOU do.
