Do not use, they issued a quote and were instructed to work based on that quote. At the end of the project they provided a different invoice for an inflated amount to my builder without discussing first. I paid the invoice along with others from the project but then realised the inflated costs. I called, emailed and gave them several weeks to respond but they won't take calls or return emails so currently informing industry bodies in order to report them for their unprofessional behaviour. Also considering legal action to get excess charges refunded.

Stay away, Absolute scam artist. Stay away. Gave a report which my 5 year old could have written and tried to ask me for more money to deliver it.
Had to get a second opinion and never got a refund. Wrote very disturbing replies to me afterwards.

We used Plan Hub Private Building Control for eleven projects since 2016 to today 2024, they were great and went above and beyond to ensure the builders delivered an high quality work. They also arranged more design at time of construction and found cost effective solutions as well as reinforced design on other parts of the project, especially the structural part, they were so satisfying these jobs. Lazzara the senior surveyor always visited, called, messaged on time, responded quickly and signed off the building work without much doubt on us. He always recommended us to use our gut feeling and our instinct on everything we do on building site. It's true tho, I had that intuition too. Would recommend him highly, it's a specialist in this type of projects.
