Extremely Disappointed with Bosch – Faulty Product and Terrible Customer Service

I am deeply dissatisfied with Bosch, both for the poor quality of their washer-dryer and the appalling service I’ve experienced.

I purchased a Bosch washer-dryer in May 2022 through Ubaldi. The machine developed a fault with the dryer’s heating element in March 2024, while still under warranty. Although the repair was eventually carried out, it was a struggle to get Bosch to take responsibility.

A few months later, the same issue reoccurred, but this time the warranty had expired. I reluctantly scheduled a costly repair appointment for 20 November, with no earlier availability. On the day, I missed the technician’s call at 13:10 by a few minutes, despite being told earlier there were five appointments ahead of mine that day, and my allocated slot was 13:00-18:00, so I didn’t expect to hear them until at least 14:00, given the other 5 appointments. When I called back a few minutes afterwards, I was met with rudeness and told it was my fault. The technician couldn’t return (even though he was likely on another visit still nearby), and the next available appointment was only on 5 December—two weeks later, leaving me without a washing machine for over a month.

On 5 December, I waited for the technician between 8:00 and 13:00 as scheduled, but by noon, the tracking link showed four appointments still ahead. I called customer service, who confirmed the technician was running late and wouldn’t arrive before 14:00—well outside the agreed timeframe. I couldn’t wait due to travel plans, and the next appointment offered was on 6 January! This would mean a total of two months without a working washer-dryer, all for a fault that Bosch failed to repair properly during the warranty period — and for a repair which is going to cost me a lot.

Bosch’s products seem poorly manufactured, with recurring issues just two years after purchase, and their customer service is unhelpful and dismissive. I will avoid Bosch at all costs in the future and recommend others do the same.

Hidden defect on American fridge

I bought a fitted kitchen (NEFF household appliances: American fridge, oven, 5-burner gas hob, extractor hood) from a kitchen designer in Pézenas (34) who installed it for me in 2016. 2023, to check the level of the doors and clean the dust under the American fridge reference: E-Nr: KA3902120 / FD: 9602 / Z-Nr: 000022 - 36-month warranty (to end 16/10/2019) - price approx. €3,200 -, I took the fridge out of the cabinet and noticed when I opened the door completely that one of the 2 doors (the one on the freezer side) had a long crack on the edge of the inner propylene door on the hinge side. I had then immediately contacted at the time (08/21/2023) the kitchen designer who had said he had contacted the NEFF sales representative.
But for more than a year, to date, no news from NEFF (or the kitchen designer).
The warranty for the fridge in the event of a breakdown has expired, but since it is a large crack on the hidden face of the side door hinges and invisible when opened normally), this is a hidden defect, and Bosch/Neff must replace this defective door because the cold escapes from the freezer.
Thank you in advance to BOSCH/NEFF for helping us quickly resolve this problem representing a health hazard and replacing the damaged door (photos of the door available)

I arrived at a garage never been to before with smiles an offer of a coffee ..Nothing was a problem Arranged a day for the car to be fixed ..Got it back same day .Clean also with another problem fixed ..Helped me jump my other car … Absolutely fantastic .Better than my Porsche main dealer

Poor service

I ordered a fridge freezer in the sale on the 19th of January 2023 with a promise of delivery within 10 days. So far no delivery and Bosch have ignored my Emails. I telephoned customer services and they said they had been out of stock but had now had stock delivered - “don’t worry it will arrive soon” these were the operators words, but I’m still waiting.

This review concerns Robert Bosch…

This review concerns Robert Bosch Customer Services (Service Client) France .
I bought a new model pull- out drawer fitted oven 6 weeks ago from Boulanger Electric Store, Boe 47, Lot-et-Garonne, France for over 1000 euros. The model was not in stock so could not be examined. When it was delivered I discovered it contained only one stainless steel rack.
I complained to Boulanger that other similar models in this price range supplied two steel racks. They directed me to contact Bosch customer services in France.
I duly sent three messages to Customer Services which were automatically acknowledged, but to date Bosch has not replied to my valid complaint. It is only normal to expect two racks in order to cook two separate dishes in the oven.
I was obliged to order from Boulanger after-sales an additional steel grill rack at 50 euros.
I have requested Bosch reimburse me my unnecessary expense of 50 euros when it should have been automatically included in an oven of this price range. Update: Bosch refused
