My husband and I are so thankful that we chose Boutique Homes. We came into this process with a lot of individual thoughts but didn’t know how to put them all together. Nate was able to take our ideas and inspiration pictures to create the perfect home for our family. He is very knowledgeable and always quick to respond. He explained our different options and walked us through each step. Our family is so excited to live in this home and will forever be grateful for Nate’s beautiful and thoughtful design.

Wow. Nate and the team at Boutique Home Plans knocked it out of the park. We had two previous draftsmen who just couldn't nail down our vision and they were able to do it within two weeks from start to finish. I am so impressed by the work that I recommended him locally here in Iowa. If you're a visualist like me.. be sure to add on the 3D rendering package. Its worth it.

Now for the tough part - To actually build the darn thing!

*FYI your builder is going to love these plans too as they include many quantities for their typical takeoffs such as roof, siding, and other important factors.

If you know what home design and floor plan you desire Nate will get your plans completed in a professional manner that is performed in 3 phases. He turned-around each phase of design as fast as we could provide feedback.
We highly recommend BHD for their plans avaialble for purchase or for custom home plans.

A godsend! We looked for months for a way to design a custom home in a reasonable time frame and budget. Nate offered exactly that. As a builder, I was blown away by the quality of these house plans. The planset strikes a nice balance, being detailed but not too detailed. I liked how we could fill in the material and finish specifications ourselves which is a nice feature. The material calculations on each sheet were also very useful for QTO/bidding.

I have engaged several architects and engineers in the past. Working with Nate at Boutique Homes was effortless, and the result was excellent. Boutique home designs are tastefully done and with excellent use of luxury features when they count the most. Nate efficiently made extensive modifications to the floor plan, meeting my expectations. They help construct a quality unique home plan for a fraction of the cost of other architects. We knew pretty much what we wanted. If had a lot of design questions and really needed some hand holding, this might not be the best solution for you. Otherwise, it was great. They are super responsive and helpful.

We found a few plans we liked on various sites but they all needed to be modified to meet our accessibility needs. The quotes I got from the other sites were 3X higher (& slower) compared here. They delivered the edits in 4 days and they were exactly what we needed. Just sent the plans out to bid!

My wife and I had a great experience designing our new home. During the initial call, Nate listened carefully to our ideas/wants, and his first draft was great. During the follow-up calls, we were able to make minor changes on the fly. For the one or two more substantial changes, we received them back within a day or two each time. For us, the whole process took only about three weeks. Nate was very thoughtful in his designs and was quick with replies to our questions. Our builder was happy with the final plans and told us they were very thorough and clearly well-thought-out. We think this is a wonderful way to design the exact home you want. The price is also a big consideration, given how much it would cost to either hire an architect to draw up plans or to buy a generic plan from the internet and then still have to hire an architect to make changes. We highly recommend this service.

Nate was great to work with. We knew very specifically what we wanted for our house plan and wanted to get it drawn in a short period of time so we can start building. We had plans completed in weeks instead of months, and for much less than an architect.
