The representative I worked with was knowledgable, courteous, and helpful. The three rugs we purchased were delivered within three days. They were well packed, and exceeded our expectations from the photos. Most important the quality is there and the price compares favorably from other vendors we researched. All in all, this was a first-rate experience and we wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Golden Nile again.

This review is for our second purchase from Golden Nile. It was, as was the first, a very smooth and efficient purchase and the rug is gorgeous.
We also purchased a rug pad from GN at the same time and it was custom cut to fit just right.
Shipping is fast - one week to WA state - and very well packaged for protection.

We called to ask about the color of the rug, we got a sincere answer and decided to order the rug. We received it in three days and it is exactly as described and absolutely beautiful. We are very happy with the tug and the service. I would have liked a certificate of origin but the experience is still give stars

The photo of the carpet was identical to the one I received. If anything, the quality of the weave and plush exceeded my expectation. The rug was extremely well packaged and delivered in a matter of days by FedEx. My only regret is that I don't have more rooms still in need of high quality hand-made oriental rugs, because I would use Golden Nile exclusively!!

It was wrapped perfectly rolled up with industrial matting and was simple for me to roll it out in its new hallway , the quality is what I anticipated and much more. It is vibrant in color and I love it

I visited Golden Nile's showroom myself. They had all the rugs that I had asked to see set out. As we looked, they also identified other rugs that I might like. I ended up getting 2 long runners. They assured me that I could return them in 30 days if they didn't work. However, they look GREAT!

The hard part for us was determining which pattern carpet, colors we wanted, and the exact size, which only you can do. Once that was done, GOLDEN NILE made it easy! They helped us narrow our needs and provided a fair well-priced solution, we trusted them and ordered a custom rug. They said it would take 4 months and it was in our home and on the floor in 2 months. Great job. Underpromising and over-delivering are sure ways to succeed. I can't say enough good things about GOLDEN NILE. We trusted them for a 10x17 and it was an excellent experience. BIll Brothers

I have looked at rugs near and far all over the US and even purchased some from others online. This is hands-down the best place I have ever purchased a rug from. They have the finest selection, the most beautiful colors, and the highest quality. I’d could easily go broke buying their rugs.

Delivered next day as promised. Our purchase was a replacement for a Bukhara runner we purchased abroad. Our puppy destroyed the original.
While our new runner has similar pattern and colors-and we like it a lot-it’s not a “real” Bukhara. It’s too perfect! But Golden Nile will remain on our contacts in case we need another replacement!

The rug selections were overwhelming. When I made a final selection, I was wondering if they really could deliver the rug in two days. Yes, they could and they did! The rug was actually more beautiful than the online image. The selection is amazing and the prices are more reasonable than many other places selling Turkish rugs. Very happy I found Golden Nile and very happy with my purchase.

The 6x2 rug arrived on time and it was packaged well. However, the rug is very thin, and unlike any other Oriental rug I've ever purchased, which number 6 before this one. I have three runners that are all thicker than this one, so I am disappointed that this one is so thin. It seems more like a piece of thick cloth, (think burlap or canvas), than it does an oriental style wool rug.

Their website has excellent photos of the rugs including the back so you get a good sense of the quality. The rug I bought met my expectations and shipped quickly. Their tool to virtually see the rug in your room by uploading a photo was extremely helpful. It was far better quality than similar tools I've seen for other non-rug retailers and really helped me visualize how things would actually look. I ended up eliminating several rugs I thought would look nice but actually didn't. And now that I have the rug in place, I can say it pretty much looks like the tool showed me while shopping!

Golden Nile is one of the best rug vendors online. I was looking for a high-quality, signed Persian carpet in a very specific color. From the ability to rapidly narrow down inventory, to the high-quality photos that showed exactly what a savvy rug-buyer needs to know (back and front, knots per square inch, weft/warp material + fringe, thickness, closeups and distance shots), the process and product are first rate. My only suggestion would be to include photos in both natural and artificial light.
tldr; if you're looking for a high-end vendor with reasonable prices you've come to the right place. ManhattanRugs also seems to be the same company FYI - they use an identical website skin.
