First Time Buyer

Liked the live chat service option which I used. Informative videos and information on the website for first time buyers like me. My sister has now made a purchase too and like me she said it was easy and communication was friendly.

Gold survival guide were very helpful…

Gold survival guide were very helpful and honest to deal with. Their website certainly does guide you and is excellent. They were quick to answer my enquiries and return my calls. I choose to pick up my order, and one thing was not quite what I had requested when I checked through it. I had made sure it was clear in my emails and specified on the invoice what I had requested and this really helped to quickly resolve the matter. The people that I picked it up from were very helpful, and a phone call sorted it out. Also, I received a followup call from Gold Survival to make sure everything was okay. I found this company very reliable.

I was weary at first to use Gold…

I was weary at first to use Gold Survival Guide to buy bullion. After reading all the guides and blogs to gain knowledge, I made the decision to purchase through them. I have now used them a number of times and every purchase has been great. David and Glenn are very responsive and make the process seamless. They do what they say and prices are good. A happy customer.

This was my first time purchasing and…

This was my first time purchasing and I'd asked if the 10oz ABC silver bar came with a certificate the same as the 5 oz bar did.I had no reply, but thought it would if the smaller bar did. It didn't. I paid more to get that reassurance though, compared to another cheaper bar. Also bars were not delivered within the promised time frame causing me concern so I had to contact company myself. They did eventually arrive though.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I've looked back and can see we didn't advise you that the 10oz ABC bars don't come with a certificate. It is only the ABC 1kg silver bars that do. Apologies for this. To try and make some amends for this we will happily refund you the difference in price between the ABC 10oz bars and the slightly cheaper NZ refined 10oz bars. Also I'm sorry we didn't manage to get them to you in line with the estimated dispatch date of 5 April. There was a delay of 1 week due to the large surge in orders that occurred on the day you ordered. I'm sorry that we didn't contact you earlier to advise of this which is our normal procedure that wasn't followed in your case.

First Time Customer

As a first time customer I was a little apprehensive about buying precious metals online. I needn't have been. The customer service was second to none. The communication was outstanding and I was kept informed as to what was happening throughout the whole process.

Good outcome

Good outcome, items arrived, quality as advertised. Communication could have been a little clearer around source (Perth Mint coins shipped from Dallas Texas) and eta (as the availability landscape was changing rapidly over the course of the purchase/delivery time frame). All ended well if a little more stressful than necessary.

Difficult to objectively review as I…

Difficult to objectively review as I haven't received my gold as yet. This is no fault of Gold Survival as I requested shipment be delayed. So far the process has been good.

Trust Pilot shouldn't be sending review requests until confirmation that the product has been delivered.

Although I have already purchased some gold, I am increasingly enjoying gaining more knowledge about this area of interest/investment. For this reason I am grateful to Gold Survival guide and their emphasis on education. One thing i like about GSG is their oft-repeated reminder that it's not really possible to totally predict what the future holds - I think this is a healthy theme. Looking forward to learning more.

Trustworthy and Prompt Service

David and team provides prompt, trustworthy service and always willing to go the extra mile to advise and educate you on precious metal investing. Despite delays during the Covid lockdowns, they were in communication throughout to smoothen delivery. Would highly recommend for friendly, personable service plus they'll match the price you find elsewhere.

Easy and reliable

I bought 10oz of Silver just to test the waters. It was a piece of cake to do and when I saw on the invoice I was getting my Silver from Morris & Watson in Auckland I knew they were legit as I had picked up from that company as Courier driver years ago.
It says on your invoice the estimated date of delivery and they were spot on considering I live in a Rural area in the Bay of Plenty. I'll be getting some more when I have the funds.

Honestly

Honestly, I expected more from this. My $6k worth of gold turned up in a shabby old cardboard box, not signed for and simply dumped at my office. I didn't feel as if I was being given advice although I asked for it specifically. I reckon I could have had the exact same experience going direct to the refinery which I will do next time.

Sorry to hear that the courier just left this without a signature. This is not the service that is paid for as all orders are sent with "No Authority to Leave" and should only be left if they are signed for. Rest assured the order is covered by insurance until you sign for it. They are sent in plain cardboard packaging so as not to draw any attention to them. So unfortunately it seems it also got a bit beaten up while in transit. Sorry the delivery was not up to standard. Unfortunately during the Covid "Contactless delivery" that has become the norm for most types of goods, has resulted in some drivers not following instructions for the signature only deliveries.

Good experience

Good experience. Only issue was the metal didn't arrive when indicated by email. It arrived the next day which we were trying to avoid as I was out in the PM. No harm done in the end, it's just that i left a voice message and didn't hear back about confirmation of when I should expect delivery.
