Ian was wonderful! I had some issues accessing my account and he made the process seamless and painless! Additionally, my husband called earlier and spoke with him. Ian remembered speaking with him and advised on the process to add my husband to the account as well as anticipated my need to get my name changed per marriage. Ian was simply wonderful!

The customer support team has been extremely diligent in helping me resolve an issue regarding a failed transfer between NBKC and another bank. Though the issue was not caused by NBKC the customer support team has been very helpful in identifying the issue with the other bank and providing documentation to help resolve the issue.

I have worked with Jackie Runk and NBKC Bank for several years and multiple home loans. They are always quick to respond and extremely helpful with getting the VA requirements together. Jackie is also very proactive in getting the best rate possible for initial loans as well as when I decided to refinance. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you are even considering a new home loan.

Dan was kind, upbeat, and professional. It really felt like he turned over every rock to get us the best rate and overall deal, which makes me hopeful that we won't refinance for a good, long while. He recommended a federal program I didn't know we qualified for and helped us make sure we met every requirement along the way. We worked over the months of December and January on a refinance. Even with break time for the holidays, we made it. I recommend working with Dan!

Had an issue with connecting my stripe account to NBKC due to my old phone used for the verification process. Called the support hotline and Sierra was super helpful! She not only updated my phone number in my account but got ahold of security and had them update the number for the verification process! She said it normal takes 24 hours but since I was in the middle of trying to get it all to work, she pushed it through for me. Thank you so much!

I usually don't post these types of reviews, but this was indeed horrible client care, Be WARNED. After assuring me of lending a mortgage and all that talk about how good and transparent they are, they simple came up with some ridiculous numbers and flat out denied my application. I make over $240k a year with a 775+ Credit score applying for 15 or 30 year mortgage on 450k house, and apparently after all the b/s they said no and this is after I Introduced them as my new house lender to my realtor and attorneys 3 weeks away from closing date, flat out embarrassed me in front of them. How does a person grossing almost 250k a year ends up with a monthly revenue of $8k a month according to their stupid number system (and their tax returns reviews), with minimal student loans, no liabilities and no kids and plenty of income in savings account and healthy stock brokerage account. If you are going to do this with a client how about not assuring them of a loan before actually running the numbers which I don't think they know what they are doing. Needless to say I contacted the other bank and easily got my loan approved the next day... but I have never met a lender like these idiots. I should right the name of the Loan specialist but I am not going to do that as it would be in poor taste. Don't encourage and assure people of a loan only to treat them this way. Better be a millionaire to sign up with these fools. Horrible company Be WARNED!!
