Using Odoo was one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made. We signed up for their subscription at $13.60/month, only to be charged over $30 in the second month despite not adding any apps or users.
Their account manager, Caroline Eleonora, is completely unprofessional—ignoring emails for days and only responding when relentlessly pushed. The experience dealing with her was beyond frustrating.
When we asked for an explanation for the extra charges, they first claimed we used additional apps. After we provided proof that we didn’t, they shifted to saying we added new users—another lie. We sent further proof showing we had only one user, and since then, they’ve gone completely silent. Two weeks, multiple follow-ups, and still no response.
We cancelled our subscription out of sheer frustration, losing money in the process. No refund, no accountability, and absolutely no care for their customers.
Odoo is a scam. Don’t trust their pricing, their team, or their service. If you value your time and money, stay far away.

I am using Odoo as a single, private user - helping family to draw up probate accounts. I think the software is amazing.
The bank import is extremely helpful, as too the predefined accounts.
Thank you Odoo and I would recommend the product to single users , SME's and larger multi-site , multi-account companies to everybody.

The tool is great : it does everything while being super cheap and customizable. Our company is really relying on it. More than that, they provide an amazing service in terms of cybersecurity, maintenance, upgrade, backups and support! The tool is so powerful it's not easy to handle it, but when it's done, it's magic!

Absolutely useless support team who haven't listened to my issue, we have wasted our money and cannot recuperate it.
Based in Portugal, and when selling us the program, they ommited to say that the system wasn't setup to work with Portuguese tax system. Oh, if you want to set it up, just get the consultant package of 2000€. What a joke.
Been attempting to get a refund for an unused account for 6 months with no luck. Avoid at all costs!

I have been using ODOO for almost 8 years. The program is fantastic to my opinion; but their customer service in UAE (Dubai) is a horror story. I started my account with European center contact and was forced to move to Dubai account after a few years. Then dealing with them; became my nightmare. Do NOT trust or expect ANY service from ODOO Dubai branch and save yourself from frustration and waste of time and ....

We're pretty happy with the service we have received from the ODOO team so far. We are about to get more help setting up PM, Planning and Accounting links so we are keeping our fingers crossed that this goes well.
Responsive, targetted service provided though with any system you do have to stay zen through the rough setup periods.

Very buggy software, support is very slow. Two times my web site built was gone. Settings are soooooo not protected that if you don't know what you are doing you can sign off yourself from the main account and loose access to it OR I decided to turn off a module Google recaptcha, the whole work was deleted on their server. What a mess.

It's strange that Google doesn't offer a review option, so I had to find this platform to share my experience. I agree—the system support is terrible, and even the sales team seems like a scam. They beg you into making a purchase and then disappear without providing any support. They force you to pay for their overpriced support hours, using only half an hour but billing you for couple hours. Even very basic system they will have bugs, which force to you buy their customization. If you haven't yet, please look for better solutions—you'll understand what I mean after you've paid them. Good luck to anyone who doesn't believe this!

Healthy cost-benefit ratio and, after some familiarisation, a valuable tool to support company growth. In other words, everything you need in a flexible business environment. The support is helpful as long as you are able to ask the right and precise questions. I can't understand any of the frustration. Of course, asking vague questions also makes support more difficult. If you are familiar with the system and ask precise questions, the support is excellent and has never let me down. As a tip, the basics can already be solved by chat gpt

Indeed, the support is zero! No answer and 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting, they did postpone the online video-chat.
The support is just a waste of time and the founder Fabien Pinckaers should check first the support team's quality, before to megrate to India, I suppose

Odoo platform is full of bugs, and the team seems unable to fix them.
Support tickets go unanswered for days, and emails to the sales team after paying for the app are ignored. The support ticket system itself shows how bad the platform is—it doesn’t even show the date and time when tickets are created.
Stay away from Odoo.

I deeply regret choosing Odoo as a solution for our business needs. From the very beginning, the experience has been nothing but frustrating and stressful. The system sold to us by Celine Sierra, the salesperson, has failed to meet expectations, and the promises made during the sales process were not delivered.
Over the past four months, we’ve made no progress despite multiple attempts to implement the system. Every step of the process has been riddled with issues, making it impossible even to complete a simple practice run. When we raised these concerns with Troy Whitford, the Business Systems Analyst assigned to our account, we received little to no constructive support, further compounding the problem.
Now, after investing a significant amount of time and money into a product that hasn’t performed as promised, Odoo refuses to issue a refund. This stance is not only unprofessional but also a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.
I strongly urge anyone considering Odoo to think twice. The lack of accountability from their team and their unwillingness to honor basic principles of fairness and professionalism make it clear that they are not a trustworthy provider.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Hidden charges. They will nickel and dime you for everything and you will never see a refund from them.
We sent two test invites to team members. The invites were never accepted or opened. Odoo added $100 to our monthly invoices without any warning.
This company does not care about their customers. Their customer service approach is take or leave it.

terrible terrible service, it's a poor accounting package, a poor ecommerce package, a poor website build package, a poor CRM, they increase charges without telling you because a custom feature was initialised, but no one knows why. Going back to sage, woocommerce and wordpress. Odoo does bits of everything, and all of them badly, avoid at all costs, it cost me thousands to find this out.

Extremely slow database performance with many bugs in the system. Website is very slow to load and suffering a lot. Takes like 5 seconds to load the ecommerce collections page which is super bad for SEO. I have fast fiber optics connection with 80mb/s. No optimization tool even to increase performace. Deleting products is also a pain. takes more than a minute to delete a single product with some images. I don't think you can truly scale with odoo. I have thousands of products that require being imported, but its really becoming cumbersome to continue with such slow performance. I'm starting to hate building on the web. We need more desktop website builders like adobe dreamweaver.
In addition to all of that, there is not even an option to backup your website's theme like most other web editors do which is a basic thing and your absolute right to have. you can only get a database dump by contacting support and it must include all your products and assets which can go above 1TB and more if you have many products. no thank you. I'm not willing to download 1TB of data to my drive. I have the right to have a backup for my own theme that I worked tirelessly on. I'm giving them 3 stars not more than that. Hope they fix these things in the future, and I'll update my review.

Favorite software ever :-)
Very low price for a very high amount of useful modules, once you pay your subscription you get the whole package, and it can replace so many different softwares in one.
I don't pay much but I enjoy a great customer service every time I need help with somehting, always get a reply in 1-2 days, and it's usually very useful and quick to the point.

The experience has been wonderful. We have become totally paperless and extremely efficient. With using around 25-26 apps of odoo all at one place, as a CEO, I know this has eliminated the need of at least 2 to 3 human resources. This also allowed us to avoid clutter of apps and unnecessary subscriptions. I think Odoo is a real game changer who has made the elephants (SAP and Oracle) dance.
