BEWARE AND AVOID AS A PLAGUE !!!

I almost never write reviews, but I believe, that i have to WARN PEOPLE from being scammed by odoo.

As other people said, VERY RUDE and AGGRESSIVE customer service staff.

Since late December 2019, our company was looking for an CRM to your for our customer support team (10 phone lines) so we said, "let's try Odoo".
In order to get more freedom with changes and get more time for tests we have downloaded odoo CE(Community Edition) from official odoo website.

Then purchased SMS and autocomplete packs from ODOO which was indicated as compatible with Community Edition.
In fact after purchase we should receive two access keys to enter on Odoo back-office configuration page.
Surprisingly two days after payment, we haven't received anything , except the email with the invoice showing that our payment was debited.
Once connected to odoo website there was ABSOLUTELY NO traces of our order and no any trace of transaction.
So I contacted odoo support team by email trough their website and gave them: order number, amount and payment date.

2 days later still no access keys and no reply from odoo, I have contacted them by phone and asked when they will send me access keys, so we can start testing SMS and autocomplete features.
They said, we will contact you very soon.

10 days passed and access keys are still not delivered !!!
And today a girl from odoo have contacted me by phone.

My GOD ! She was very impolite and INCREDIBLY RUDE and when I asked her:
- Hey why it took you so long to contact me after my request ? and why we still haven't received the product which we have purchased and paid for ?
Said to me:
- You know, what ! We don't have time to take care of all the small customers like you. There are many more important "bigger" customers who is still waiting for the help... so you should be grateful that we contacting you ONLY after 10 days !"

I was simply SHOCKED !
I said, hey:
- first of all you don't know if we are "big" or "small" because we are your potential customer. Second, no matter the amount, you still haven't fulfilled our order.
So she started YELLING at me, that how dare I ask them for a support if I haven't purchased their odoo business version.

And when I said:
-I'm NOT asking you about the support for implementation or configuration, but I'm asking you to send me the product that I HAVE PAID IN FULL !
Then I said, your company is selling CRM to help other companies get better relationship with customer , but you just showing me the opposite - an example of a total FAILURE in that field!
So, because you mistreating a customer like that, we don't want anymore use your CRM and will go to your competitors. And taking into account that you still haven't delivered purchased packs, we ask you for a full refund.

She yelled at me again :
- Don't even hope to get the refund! WE WILL NOT REFUND YOU ANYTHING !
And then she hung the phone!

Wow, that was the most awful experience that I ad with customer cervices in my entire 45years life.

Fortunately that was only a (awful) test and we didn't purchased a 12000€/year package, as our boss wanted initially.

So we have no other solution then open a claim and ask PayPal for a refund.

Beautiful UI, but that's the only pros

Their Sales is really good at online demo. Don't be fool by their demo. Because this accounting software is way more complicated than you think. Beautiful UI will make you think it's easy to use. Wrong Answer!
There is no sufficient documents or video clips they can provide to you to teach you how to implement the system. Do not pay for Success Pack which their Sales would strongly recommend you to buy. It's expensive and useless.

Odoo will not be rich by stealing money from client like this. The only thing they will earn is a bad reputation and leave the crucial market.

Poor Service with a potential new client.

Scheduled a meeting with Odoo as a potential new customer. They send plenty of reminders to say your meeting is starting in one hour etc. When it then gets to the meeting time no one calls, very poor service. Odoo's loss is its competitors' gain.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Also they have a strange pricing model. You pay 3-times more when you buy the software in the US and Europe but if you use VPN for Africa you will pay a friction of the costs.

Customer service is, once you buy the subscription, not satisfying. Not recommended.

Very bad service

Very bad service, we bought license and cloud service. They did'nt contact us to communicate the istance, we paid 7 days ago, we opened a ticket and until now no one reply to us.
They only intersted to give the job to their partners.
We'll open a credit card claim to get back the money.
