Last summer, Gaétan helped me to deeply understand the Swiss system. I say deeply because he did spend several hours, on multiple days to discuss every aspects of retirement planning. We also discussed on various financial topics - mortgage, investments... I could finally ask all my questions.
As a scientist willing to really understand how the numbers, that were constantly presented to me, were generated, I really appreciated the time he spend to go through the explanations.
As of today, I did sign with Swissential and I am very happy with the services provided. I do recommend both Swissential and Gaétan!

Having rotated through my fair share of financial advisers in my 8 years in Switzerland, in short I can say: I can finally stop looking.

Their process is very simple and transparent: an introductory call to explore your needs, followed by 3 free sessions of insights and simulations around the topics that mattered to you, e.g. pension planning and real estate. They explain to you the system and at the end you openly discuss whether you both believe their services could help you in your journey. Rr not! There was no discernible catch, neither did I at any point find that someone was stealthily marketing their services to me. After our initial 3-4 meetings, we concluded that I didn't need their services as I am able to manage what I want to achieve by myself.

My advisor James was generous with their knowledge, good humored and earned my trust (and the many referrals since I told everyone I know about them) :)

I would strongly recommend Gaetan as a financial advisor. I had multiple calls with Gaetan in which he clearly and transparently explained the investment options in Switzerland. I personally decided not to invest through Swissential because I manage my own portfolio, but I would recommend people that are not as interested in actively managing their investment portfolio to invest through Gaetan. He brings experience, a great chat and a well explained risk / reward strategy to optimize your portfolio on different timeframes. All the best, Arnaud
