Discriminated Against from Pinetree Vancity Teller
I have have 3 Business account at Pinetree Vancity branch for over 10 years...this will be the last year. I always do all my transactions online and go to the branch every 6-8 weeks. On March 7, 2024, I went to do some in-person transactions. The teller, Georgette R was very rude, impolite and disrespectful. I emailed a complaint to the admin, received a phone call and email from the assistant manager and then the branch manager but nothing happened. I filed a complain with BC Human Rights Tribunal based on the discrimination I encountered from this teller given my old age and being non-white.
I'm in the process of withdrawing my 3 bank accounts from this bank. I do not recommend that you deal with this bank unless you can accept insults from a teller like this person.
