I'm be a member wastch peak credit union soon I spoke representative name Brenda she Soo professional good listener and she answered all questions I ask and Brenda gave me a good advice and she knows the business and she made my day good and im. Giving her 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 star thank you Brenda and thanks you again

If I could give zero stars I would.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I have had multiple unauthorized charges and no one would assist me with disputes it's been since March. They said they can't stop charges to my card and to get a new card which I had multiple times and still somehow charges still come through on the new card.
I have been charged overdraft fees totaling over $1,000 in my checking when I had plenty of money in my savings At times when I would use the app to transfer money from saving to checking it wouldn't transfer right away causing more overdraft fees and the fee is charged immediately not even allowing you even a hour to add money into the account to cover the charge . Most places give you at least till end of business day to deposit funds before being charged a fee. when I brought this up they told me I had to connect both accounts for it to automatically pull from my savings to avoid overdraft fees which I thought already was set up. I was told it was $5 to connect it so I agreed as $5 one time connect fee was a lot cheaper then numerous $25 fees. I noticed it was charging a fee of $5 for every transaction left and right which ended up being more each month after I set it up than the overdraft fees of $25 here and there. I spoke to multiple people over the phone about my concerns With the unauthorized charges and fees and they were only hearing fees and kept saying they cant Help me. I asked to speak to a manager and no one would speak to me the few times I asked. I eventually contacted another branch to see if I could sit down with a manager to review my account together to make sense of the fees charges and get some help with the charges I did not recognize the manager was really rude, told me I needed to go over it myself to find the charges which I told him I already did but needed to go over my account still because there was so much. Manager refused to assist me.
I switched banks and My account has gone negative with wasatch peaks for things still trying to come out even with my card being locked and when I received a call about the balance I explained to the agent that I would be happy to make a payment as long as someone would sit down with me to go over the account. I was told I would be transferred to a VP and then was hung up on. I never had issues before with wasatch peaks until I sold my home and had a huge amount put into my savings with them and that's when things started to go out of control. I do not recommend them at all. I wish I used the bank I have now and do not charge excessive fees.

Great service

Why such peaks credit union has wonderful customer service. They are always able to help in any way possible. And any issues that I ever have with my account.They are prompt about finding a solution.

20yrs with this credit union!

20yrs with this credit union!! Don't get a fraudulent charge on your card! They will make you do everything to get it removed. So if someone out there has your info, Wasatch Peaks Credit Union will make you check around and run around to try to stop people from stealing your money.

Customer Service Acknowledgements

Ive been with Wasatch Peak CU (many different names over the years) since 1977 when I first started working for the USFS. I've had other CUs for instant cash and deposits over the years, but, I keep coming back and wont leave here until the day I die, which I hope is a long ways off. I've had exceptional service from Crystal these days in a variety of issues and none better qualified that I have dealt with than with her. I dont know how to give her more kudos other than here, but she surely needs to be touted as one heck of a membership person to help with any questions you have. Thanks Crystal, I always appreciate your help and knowledge.

I have been with Wasatch Peaks for over…

I have been with Wasatch Peaks for over 12 years. They have great staff who are always willing to go the extra mile. Their loan officers are quick and thorough with extensive knowledge on what products worked best for me. I would definitely recommend. They recently updated their online banking applications and I’m very impressed with the product. It’s user friendly and I'm able to see my business accounts under one login. I just toggle between my business accounts without having to login to each separately.

Great loan experience

I don’t enjoy shopping around for cars or getting loans but Wasatch Peaks made it fast and easy and I didn’t feel pressured at all. Combine that with the ease of pay through app and notifications you can setup as reminders and I have great peace of mind! Definitely recommend them!

Shout out to Lauren Mun for great…

Shout out to Lauren Mun for great customer service. Wasatch Peaks has been my financial institution for approximately 42 years.
Lauren Mun was very helpful in resolving a interest issue on my checking account.
She provided excellent customer service and great follow up after she planned to speak to the person that is over high yield checking accounts. Wasatch Peaks can use more people like Lauren.

Behind the times, inadequate training.

This branch doesn’t even offer the ability to do wire transfers online like EVERY other bank. So I had to go in on a Friday to initiate the wire transfer in person like it’s 1980, and they failed to input the information I provided them correctly. Thanks Alex, now my wire transfer won’t arrive until Monday morning, and my Aunt Carol will have to hop around in pain with a broken leg because the money I sent for a scooter won’t arrive in time. You’re the best.

Best credit union!

Wasatch peaks is hands down the greatest credit union around. They get my wife and I an approval within hours and their customer service is incredible. They definitely know how to take care of their customers. We work with Jake at the pleasant view branch, if you want someone who knows what their doing, call Jake every time!

Ethan is great!!

I have had to contact Wasatch Peaks several times the last couple of weeks. Each time Ethan has been very helpful and patient even with multiple calls in one day with endless questions. He has helped with transfers on an account, transfers to another member account, cancelling and ordering a new debit card and countless balance inquiries. Ann Stewart

Ann Stewart: Indirect LO - I’ve never heard from her, ever. I’ve called multiple times, left VMs and emails.
Coming from Mountain America CU as an employee and member, extremely disappointed in her and management should talk to her directly about her customer service, or lack thereof.

Every time I’ve called in, I got a lovely lady who answered all my questions, and Landon Kimber was so helpful in setting up my auto payments for our new truck loan.

I would of given a 1 star because of Ann, but Landon and the other lady brought it up to 3.

Easy and Painless Home Equity Loan

I've been a member since 1978. I've been a member through several mergers, and through periods of time when the policies and customer service weren't what I had come to expect. But the policies AND service have improved. I applied for a home equity loan a couple of weeks ago. Cynthia and Asif were both professional and courteous, and always followed up with me when I was out of contact due to my work. This was a great experience.

Great Service!

I've been a member of this credit union for over 10 years and I can't say enough about their exceptional customer service. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist with any questions or concerns. As I walk in they greet me and know my name. They go above and beyond each time I go in!

Quick easy car loan/ great rate

I applied for a car loan with Wasatch Peaks and the process was very easy. Hannah was so personable and gave me clear instructions of what was needed. Hannah responded promptly each time I reached out to her. I was surprised how fast it took and I got a great rate that the other credit unions couldn't even get close to matching. I am very satisfied with the process and outcome!

I applied for a car loan through…

I applied for a car loan through Wasatch peaks. Received a phone call asking for clarification on a few things which i sent in an email. I called three seperate times, left three seperate messages and STILL havent heard on a decision being made. I've moved on since but I've lost respect in this Credit Union.

I opened an account here two weeks ago… I’m going somewhere else

I opened an account here two weeks ago and I have no access to my money, my accounts don’t show up online, and customer service doesn’t respond to questions. I received no routing numbers to set up direct deposits or order checks. I think my money is going to be finding a new home once I can get someone to track it down for me.

Website and online account setup is…

Website and online account setup is very below industry standards. UI is horrible. Lowest interest rate I could get, but I now fully regret my decision going with this credit union which is concerning because I haven't even made my first payment yet.

I live in Northern Virginia and needed…

I live in Northern Virginia and needed to find an associated CU. The customer service rep provided me several locations and was helpful in guiding me to the closest one. I was then able to make my deposit into my account. The CS rep was extremely helpful and patient with me , as I was driving at the time, while trying to find the location of the associated CU. Thanks.
