Belong continue to disappoint

Finally connected, however, not only are Belong charging me for a whole month when they couldn't connect me for 15 days, but also charging me at a higher tariff than agreed! Trying to sort through the "Help Chat" was even worse! What a complacent aweful company to deal with!

Helpful in Restoring the Connection

On Feb 8th and 9th, my home internet with belong was suddenly down. I worked from home and kids study both need the internet desperately. I attempted to contact belong through multiple channels. Suresh in belong stepped out and quickly diagnose the symptom and raised trouble ticket against NBN for this resolution. Because of his effort and the ticket he raised, I was able to contact NBN, identify the root cause and resolve the matter in the end. Well done Suresh! Thanks

Terrible terrible terrible customer service, stay away from them

Terrible terrible terrible customer service!! Write few reviews before consider connecting to Belong,
I have 4 days of now internet because of a simple mistake from technician, during these four day there was no small support from belong. If fact here is no phone number you can call and speak to someone. Every thing is based on filling claim on-line and they never back to you. I,m dome with hem, switched to other provider and they solve my problem withing half a day.
Even the internet speed was bad. My new provider give me much better internet speed with same NBN platform (NBN50) and similar cost.

Just where we belong ❤️

I have to say I am impressed Belong! After a bumpy start to our connections, today I called them to discuss a payment assistance plan. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we weren't able to keep up with our monthly debit. So I put in a online enquiry, they gave me a call the next day and credited my account at no hesitation once they knew why i wasnt able to keep up and organised assistance for us for our future payments. Our internet has been great, no issues with speed and with 5 gamers, aswell as streaming ect they're happy with the results compared to our last company connections we had. A huge thank you to the friendly guy I spoke to on the phone today, you have helped a family during a crazy time in our life. You are a legend.

Pathetic service

Pathetic service. Every single day there’s a drop in internet as in no internet. The inconvenience is beyond describable. Will not continue with Belong. Also, there’s no customer care number. There’s an email.. talk much about lag in getting back to the query. Absolutely stay away from belong. I will be disconnecting their service right away.

I've been with belong for over 12…

I've been with belong for over 12 months without any problems. But once I moved address last month had nothing but problem's my signal keeps dropping out all the time had a technician out to fix problem but it's still dropping out all the time 😡 Haad 1day where it didn't dropp out. If problem is not fixed this week will be changing provider

So broadband died

So broadband died. It happens BUT contacted Belong via messenger on a weekend through the chatbot and promptly had an engineer sent to sort the issue. Fast efficient and no nonsense. Our previous supplier would have taken multiple calls and weeks to get things sorted. Excellent customer service and a pretty good price to boot

Bought a sim from Coles it was just…

Bought a sim from Coles it was just $19. I hardly used it for a day and then due to no reception at my place I never used it back and have been using my Vodafone plane. All of a sudden got to know $35 was credited from my account next month without my acknowledgement. I never opt for belong plan it was just for a one of use. Trying to reach their customer service but unable to. I won't recommend anyone. I'll go for consumer affair and ombudsman if I'm not refunded back.

the service itself was ok

the service itself was ok

have an online only technical support is weird
after all if you have no internet how are you going to ask for support

but what gets me is the way you don;t pro-rata refunds when you leave. if you leave midway threw the month thay won;t refund the pro-rata amount

also when changing ISP's do it on the last day of the month to insure you have your moneys worth notify them of your intent to disconnect THEN notify your bank to refuse anymore payments to them. this will be to prevent them from takeing a payment on the first then refuseing to refund it.

We're sad to see you go, and if you disconnect in the middle of the month we won't refund you for any remaining days. This is because we don't charge pro rata when you start an account.

No show from Belong technician

A customer service rep from belong said that a technician would come to my property @ xxx NSW on 8 November between 8AM to 12 noon and no one showed up today to fix my internet issue. This is frustrating as my son took time off work waiting a technician to show up. Please try to be professional when handling customers.

I suppose I can't complain about the…

I suppose I can't complain about the customer service when there isn't any! I had to lodge a tech support ticket for somebody to call me. I went almost Eighteen hours without an internet connection. Lucky I had data on my phone to lodge the ticket or I'd of been without an internet connection until I recharged. Avoid if this provider.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service! I referred a friend to use Belong who was confused where to put in the referral code. They submitted the request to connect anyway thinking they could just call to advise of the mistake and receive the $20 discount off their first bill....I rang the customer service area to explain and they didn't want to know about it. So now they're about to lose one long time loyal customer and a new potential customer. Not good enough!

Low score? But still the BEST Oz Telco

Amazing again with a fast fix to my stupidity and service staff available on the phone. I am surprised at the mid range rating here but think that is an indictment on the generally poor service in the industry in Australia. Belong is by far the best Telecom to deal with. Sure there have been some let downs but overall Belong systems, service, and speed is way beyond that of all the other telco's I have/had accounts with.

Worst customer service

I have experienced frequent drop outs with my internet. Often interrupting mid zoom call for work. This has occurred regularly for 3/4 months now and every time I make a complaint I get a phone call to monitor, restart and even did virtual online trouble shooting steps to change the settings. After months of compliance and 9 + phone conversations wasting hours of my time they are still refusing to compensate or send our a technician. Again with another complaint I have just been met with "We will montiro your service for 24/48 hours" AGAIN!

Simply terrible service and not good enough.

No point wasting your money on this provider.

Worst response time and service

Worst experience and service : They don’t have any customer care number. They don’t even have chat service to resolve the customer problem. Normally, their auto reply email say’s that they will respond within next 2 hours, however you won’t even get reply from them after two days. To register a complaint they take 2 days and there resolution SLA is 15 days. I never seen such a bad customer service from any ISP. Even tried their FB message service, no response received yet.

So, it’s worst experience with them.

Never go with Belong!!

The worst possible NBN provider in Sydney. Go with SpinTel, Superloop, TPG or Optus. I made a disconnection request on a specified date and they disconnected my internet a month earlier after they took the money for my bill. I made a complaint and they told me it will take between 2-7 business days to reconnect me back. Absolutely disgusting service! Mind you, they are owned by Telstra!!!

Constant Poor or No Mobile Signal

Since joining Belong I have constant poor or no mobile 3G/4G signals in my home & in my front yard. I lose many calls due to this constant problem. If I do happen to receive a signal it usually drops out during the call.
It's very annoying as I don't receive the service indicated!

Happy with the customer service

Have been with belong for nearly 2 years . Haven't had a problem with them . Today they helped me out after I couldn't pay my bills due to a sensitive personal issue . They were absolutely brilliant , sympathetic and helpful . Would recommend them .

The most abysmal lack of customer…

The most abysmal lack of customer service I have ever experienced. Stopped selling ADSL internet one week into a pre paid month, but charged me for full month and did not contact me prior to inform me the service would be ceased..has not responded to service request lodged on website for 3 days despite sending emails telling me to "hold tight, help is on its way" SCAM company

I would give 5 start ratings if belong…

I would give 5 start ratings if belong would have e-sim option. I have 2 mobile number and both are with belong. 1 is for work and another is for personal. But, jus because of belong doesn't have e-sim service I have to carry 2 mobile sets. Hope the management will consider this issue soon as other sub operators of telstra such as Aldimobile has this e-sim service. If you have this service in future, please let me know.
