Lastest VPN update

Until last VPN update, I could access my bank app and Official sites (related with taxes) if VPN was connected. This was applicable on both computer and mobile phone devices. Since recent VPN update, I can only access those sites if VPN is disconected, applicable on both computer and mobile. If it was working fine, what happened with the new update that I can't use it?

Top-notch Support Department

The support person actually, for a change, listened to my issue. Then, in a timely manner, suggested possible fixes for my issue. It was refreshing to have a support person who could actually respond in proper English! Not only that they recommended a fix that worked instead of just sending me a boilerplate response.

Great experience with customer support

Mr. Bogdan I. Commercial Support Representative was very helpful and committed person. He managed to gain another loyal customer. Thank you Mr. Bogdan I. for making my life easier, he sent a follow up email after I was frustrated from AI support.

Full marks all round

Very reliable and thorough and the support service is excellent. BD is the complete answer to all sorts of protection. I have two desktop PCs, two iPads and two iPhones all protected for a very reasonable annual subscription. I've been with BD for many years.

Good software bad renewal practices....

I like the software and it dose a good job but please please please remember to turn off auto renewal if you subscribe by card as they will rip you off if you don't renew manually every time it expires. They wanted to charge me over £80 for 1 year 10 devices on auto renewal and when I contacted them they just use an silly excuse of "oh our renewal software can't take into account any discounts at the time of renewal" what a joke.

Just paid £24.99 on amazon for the same item but for 2 years. They are just praying that people don't see the renewal price until it's too late or are too busy to do anything about it.

Plus I could not cancel my auto renewal on my account, I had to email them...... seriously.

I signed up with them for a year

I signed up with them for a year. After a year, it renewed my subscription automatically, without being asked. A month before the subscription expired, I wrote to them that I no longer wanted to renew the subscription.

automatische verlening terwijl opgezegd

Terwijl ik me heb afgemeld en geen automatische verlening van het contract wilde gebeurde het toch. Jarenlang klant geweest en dan zoiets - bedrag alsnog afgeboekt. Corrupte bende

They promised to get in touch with me after my initial complaint to solve the issue but unless the nice words NOTHING HAPPENED. Have a lawyer involved once you sign a contract with them!

Solid, trustworthy help even when I asked for a refund.

I was not happy with an add-on product to my new Bitdefender Total Security software. The support person helped be work through a resolution, even though I decided to ask for a refund on the add-on. The refund was generated in less than a day. The prompt, solid support left me trusting the company more, despite the individual product disappointment.

Bitdefender is probably one of the best…

Bitdefender is probably one of the best Internet security software packages there is. The product has literally saved my computer numerous times. Any time I've had to contact the company, the issues are always resolved by skilled, knowledgeable, professional representatives with friendly, invested attitudes. Bitdefender as a company does it right and it's a delight to have a product that works and does what they say it will. Top drawer product.

I got notification for renewal

I got notification for renewal, higher price. Tried to contact, they sent a phone number for me to call - long distance and NOT toll free. I was on hold for 45 minutes when I finally hung up. Got notice from my phone company I had reached my long-distance quota. I will be deleting my account (or try to) when the subscription is up.

I have been using this product for a long time and can not rate them highly enough. If there was a problem it was sorted out very fast and followed through to the end completely.

Poor customer servicer…

I called to get help with customer support. I tried to hear or understand Jennifer. Finally I said I don't want to offend you but because of my hearing problems or your accent i need to speak to someone else. She completely ignored me and kept talking. I called back and got a man. Wanted and this point to talk to his supervisor. I asked for supervisor name and he said superman. And he also told me they don't talk to customers. I have had Bitdefender for 3 years but now I am wondering if I want their product.

Bitdefender Securepass terrible to use!

I am happy with Bitdefender Total Security and have been using it for years, but I am not at all happy with Securepass. I was happy with the passwordmanager, but it now converted to Securepass. Transferring the passwords from the Passwordmanager gives you a folder in which you have to scroll and find your password. Half of the list in my case just says Account, so you have no idea where to look for your password. It does not automatically fill in the password for a website like the passwordmanager used to. I just don't get why they changed a good product to something inferior, I hate it. I want Password manager back!

Supportive and prompt - disappointing update

I have been with Bitdefender for a while. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to carry on with the subscription. Bitdefender have been supportive and responded promptly. Their response came with in hours and was dealt with within two days.
29th January 2025
Just arrived home and very very disappointingly, Bitdefender have taken MORE money out of my account after they told me they would cancel the subscriptions. Had to contact them to get the money back again.

Very happy with the Bitdefender product and support.

Have been using Bitdefender product for several years on both our laptops and cell phones. I really feel Bitdefender is staying ahead of the threat curve with always improving the protections.

Criminally fraudulent

While we were using it, Bitdefender was a morally reprehensible company that persistently and openly practised systemic criminal fraud in the form of incorrect premature renewal information that contained false information and pressured customers to renew their subscriptions early. It was advised of this numerous times and refused to do anything about it or even acknowledge that it was happening. Organisations that do this absolutely deserve to be publicly shamed and disgraced.

It has been a good experience but.....

It has been a good experience with my Total Protection but I want to ask now 2 questions.
First: why I have to pay for beeing tracked? I have seen that inside Bitdefender there are 2 apps spying me: Google and Adobe. If I pay you, you have to work as I likes not as third company wants.
Second: the customer care of Bitdefender seems likes It doesn't exist. Every problem or doubt has to be solved inside various forum between clients and there Is no link to assistance directly or the link doesn't work.

Problem solved quickly

The technical staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in any unforeseen situations that may arise. Every time I had a problem I was helped and guided properly.
I am very satisfied with Bitdefender services.
