ebookers - absolutely horrendous !!!! do not book with them !!!!

I've just been had!!! big time!!! BAD isn't what I would call these guys - HORRENDOUS is more like it! I booked a holiday!!! I asked for discount the agent 'cleverly' told him he couldn't discount it unless I split out the accommodation and the flights!!! Have two separate bookings i went along with it thinking I was getting a bargain. However he only booked my return flights only and my accommodation. I agreed a total figure of 1925 for the holiday. I received an email stating my outward flight was not booked - they wanted me to pay again for my outward flights - I went ahead a booked them myself - I've just been on the phone with their 'Queen' bee IQRA - they are saying that the figure agreed was in sterling!!! they are refusing to refund my separate booking that I made for my outward flights. Who in their right mind would buy a holiday with only return flights ?!?! the agent knew what he was at in order to get the business he conned me into thinking that everything was in order both flights and accommodation all for the discounted price of €1925.00 we went through my flight details flight times booking a bag you name it - she the queen bee listened to my recorded conversation and all the way through no mention of sterling was made! These guys are out and out con artists !!!!!! with absolutely no conscience. A horrible company to deal with. IQRA apparently is top of the mountain in the complaints compartment and there's no one else to speak with no refund even though she listened to the entire sales call 45 mins......... HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The gain 30% of the hotel price for nothing, means bad service for costumer and bad service also for hotel owner. Never ever again !!!!

Beware of ebookers: Unreliable and Unhelpful Customer Service

I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with ebookers, which has left me deeply dissatisfied with their services. I booked my flight tickets through them, expecting a smooth and reliable process, but unfortunately, that was far from reality.

After my flight with Air France was canceled, I was informed by Air France directly that I was eligible for a refund. Relieved by this news, I contacted ebookers for assistance with the refund process, hoping they would facilitate it as they claim to work closely with airlines like Air France and KLM.

However, my experience with ebookers' customer service was nothing short of a nightmare. They not only failed to help me with the refund process but also gave me incorrect information, misleading me about my eligibility for a refund. Despite Air France's assurance, ebookers rejected my request within less than 24 hours, leaving me puzzled and frustrated.

To make matters worse, the customer service agents at ebookers' chat support seemed to be more interested in avoiding the problem rather than resolving it. It was evident that they lacked the necessary expertise and training to handle customer complaints effectively.

Instead of providing clear instructions or helpful links, ebookers simply asked me to "submit my request via BSP Link Refund Application." This vague response not only wasted my valuable time but also showcased their disregard for customer satisfaction.

I felt like ebookers was simply trying to wash their hands off the matter and push the responsibility onto someone else, suggesting I contact IATA without providing any helpful guidance.

As a customer who placed trust in ebookers' services, I am deeply disappointed by their lack of integrity and support. Their actions were deceptive, and they failed to deliver on their promises of assistance and cooperation with Air France and KLM.

In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering booking with ebookers to think twice and be extra cautious. My experience with them has been nothing short of a complete letdown, and I would not wish this ordeal upon anyone else.

I hope ebookers takes this review as constructive feedback to improve their customer service and uphold the trust of their clients in the future. As for now, I will avoid ebookers and seek more reliable travel booking options.

NEVER EBOOKERS AGAIN

I had to book 4 flights for my family and the price indication was very favourable, but when I had to book the flight, the price moved suddenly 20% or approx. CHF 500.-- higher. After booking the price moved exactly CHF 500 lower. The feedback from the company was very unsatiesfying, blaming basically me to have accepted the offer. A clear fraud!

Good combination of different airlines

It is very useful to have option to combine different airlines for affordable prices. One-way flights are always expensive, however from time to time the flight times may not suit our expectations. In some occasions, you may need to combine different airlines to get the best flight time but it is crucial to avoid paying huge amount of money. Ebookers are doing this job fairly good, easy and acceptable prices.

booking a flight

to be honest, it was terrible yesterday. It took me 1 hour to book a flight to Malaga. Three times I had to give in my credit card and then password to ebookers, then it would shut me down. In the end I had to login through Facebook and then it changed my ticket name to my facebook profile name, which has my maiden name on it. Now I have the trouble of trying to change my ticket name. Just a mess...not happy at all

Ebooker has no service and cheating the customers

After a cancellation of one flight (without a message) I had to book a new flight. For 18 months, the refund has been pending at Ebookers. I can not contact you only on traveling(at)customercare.ebookers.ch. But no one answers. Also after 5 telephone calls and 5 emails not.
Service is not available at Ebookers. They want to cheat the customers.

Great but not transparent enough

I changed my mind about booking an Ibis hotel room because I had found a room on ebookers at cheaper price for apparently more comfort, but it's only once I've booked the room that they mentioned it was a room at the lower ground floor... Which is fine by me as there are windows apparently down there, but still I would have appreciated to have known that earlier and it was mentioned nowhere before the booking had been made.

app not working

Unfortunately I couldnt book via the app offered on the android market. It says: application is not available for your device. I have a Samsung S5 and dont understand why I cant use the app. for me a no go since I would have had a special offer I couldnt get.

Apart from this the booking process was great and fast. Also easy to understand and I got immediately an email with all details etc.
if app is fixed I d appreciate it

Review

Easy booking process
I appreciate all links work properly and informative emails are complete
Did not have any difficulties to access my booking in the sites of the airlines and request seats, etc, immediately after completing the booking at ebookers.ch
On the negative side, too many adds, promotions and additional services during the booking page make somehow difficult to find the right links
In all, a good experience

Good enough

Large selection of hotels but very brief details regarding hotel amenities especially regarding parking. I have activated the "parking" filter but when looking at certain hotels there was totally no information and in most cases it just says parking - but what type (open or park garage) and if it's free or not. Secondly, is about breakfast. If you read comments, most of the time it is not what customers expect.

Reliable

Ebookers is a reliable service. I booked numerous trips of different kinds and all went well.

To improve: The interface should allow for quicker "what if" scenarios, i.e. it should be easier to make minor changes or to switch just one component of a combi package (e.g. the hotel). Also, hotel offer should be enlarged. It often happened that I took the flight with ebookers and the hotel from another service since it wasn't available.

Be sure to check the final booking!

I booked 2 flights to Brussels from what I thought was Zurich but as it turned out my browser reverted to a previous search from Basel. I did not look carefully enough and just checked the dates and times and now I have to fly from Basel instead. bookers was not able to help me to change my booking. And while I understand that I should have been more careful checking the final booking, it is disturbing that the browser would seemingly switch to a previous search.

Excellent

I book my fight through Ebokers platform since two years and I found the bets prices ever. When I need to cancel flight I ecocide back my money as his stipulated in the cancellation agreement in just few seconds and a the phone theey trying always to find the best solutions to not loose our money. Just agree and and happy to use ebbokers.

Booking flights - great consumer experience

i love booking with ebookers. They are not always the cheapest but when they are close (max 5% more expensive), I book with them. They are a reliable brand, I feel safe with them (no risk of going bankrupt), the website is a pleasure to browse - it's simple, with great filtering options and no unnecessary pop-up windows.

Good instrument but still some improvements are possible

1) The web site should allow payment of expensive tickets by TWO credit cards (each card to be charged for a part of the total amount). My credit card had a limit smaller than the value of my booking, but two credit cards would do the deal.
2) When inviting the customer to chose a hotel just after booking of flight, the web-site must show a well-visible button "Show all hotels on map". This button is not present on that screen, and I needed to seek for other by-pass solutions.

Easy way to find out your best flight

The ebooker.ch site is great at comparing rates for different dates with its +/- 3 days flexible travel dates feature.

The result on a single tabular grid view is straightforward.

Selection of "non-stop flights only", preferred airlines and so on
is very complete.

All in all, simple and helpful!
