Giving a 5 star because such a helpful decent business. My router which was 4 years old, gradually was dying until died on 2 January 2025. No Internet. Nothing. Awful time to break down !!Contacted Pop Telecom and said I need a new one. Would be the weekend in the way! But agents kept in close contact with me checking how it was going. Arrived today, Monday. My husband plugged it in and I phoned and the agent explained how to simply get it going. So easy ! I appreciate that this company made it so easy because at age 81, I can get confused with anything technical but it was so straightforward . THANK YOU, Pop Telecom. All the agents are so pleasant and helpful. Best Internet company on the market!!!

Customer Services (JR) contacted me to see if my internet had been running ok following a recent break in service from water in an underground cable. Spoke to him also re a recent bill query and he resolved that at the same time. This company has best customer service ftom any internet provider I’ve had in last 25 years. Well done Pop Telecom.

I spoke to Kelvin in respect to installing a new internet connection. He was most helpful and explained everything quite clearly. We now have to wait to be contacted by an engineer to connect it.

Lol isn't it always my luck, new years day, my router wasn't working properly. Poptelecom customer service rightly was closed for festivities.. Phoned this morning at 09.00am, got straight through to technical support, spoke to Joe who was very patient and helped me get me back online with both my mobile phone and tablet.. Thanks Joe you are a star 😀

Spoke to Joe due to problem with billing. Very helpful. Overpayment made to pop telecom dealth with and insurance cancelled off next payment.
Whilst Joe was very helpful be careful of pop telecom adding insurance to your monthly payment without any warning or communication.

My call answered quickly and directed to JR who was very helpful in looking into problem of failing broadband connection - even though I called on a Saturday towards the end of opening times.

POP Telecom understands that customers want to speak to a human being. The telephones are answered with minimal delay and the staff are knowledgeable. They will forward your call to the relevant department, where necessary.

I had an entirely positive experience calling POP telecom, thanks to the immensely helpful and friendly Joe with whom I spoke. I was worried that the issue would require an engineer to visit but Joe talked me through all the steps patiently and clearly, which allowed me to sort out the connectivity issue myself, and we had resolved the problem in under 10 minutes. I am extremely grateful!

As a new customer of POP Telecom, having switched from another provider, I had a problem with access to the router settings and was unable to make or receive landline calls. I had to report the problems by email, but within a couple of hours I was contacted via mobile and the line and router were tested by POP, revealing an external line fault. This was reported by POP to Openreach immediately and by mid-day next day both problems were resolved. Many thanks to Cris at POP Telecom and to their tecnician who carried out the tests on the previous day, and to Openreach for their speedy action.

The reasons why I put 1 star:
I am a current customer of Poptelecom. When I requested a broadband move to a new property with the same tariff and service to the new property, they did not allow me the same service and asked me to move up to 24 24-month contracts and add an extra £12-13 per month (roughly £312). Even I wasn't happy with that but I didn't have any alternative solution rather than pay early termination fee of 14 months. So I said move on with 24 months and extra £12-13 per month.
They said, they will take another 10 working days to fix and activate the line ( by 3rd Jan 25) and wait a phone/email by 48 hours for the engineer to set up line. But they ignored me and when I called them, they said there is not fixed yet to set up.
This means the pop telecom ignores / scams or to the customers?
This is annoying experience😡:

My internet cut out on xmas eve, not great timing, and as Customer Service was closed for three days it took till the 27th to get through and get it sorted. Not Joe's fault though, that's the company fault. Joe's look-out was to diagnose the issue and get it sorted asap, which he did with flying colours - 15 mins after getting through to him, my wi-fi icon started flashing again for the first time in 72hrs, and everything was back up and running. So thank you Joe for your friendly, fast, and helpful service !! Pop Telecom though...you need to sort your service out !!

Terrible customer service - they will sting you for truly excessive fees if you move house and they cannot provide the service to your new address. Avoid at all costs - particularly if you might be moving house any time soon.
