VERY CAREFULLY CHECK YOUR ORDER ON…

VERY CAREFULLY CHECK YOUR ORDER ON ARRIVAL. Ordered large quantity, almost a 1/3 of one tile was broken. Also realised later that we were missing never delivered 186 tiles.
Follow up order arrived almost all broken. Don’t know who is packing and delivery but they don’t care. Almost as much as customer service who promise to call you back but don’t. Leaving you no option but to order again so I’ve double paid what I should have when it’s all said and done.
Total cowboys. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND

Consumer laws not upheld

Consumer laws not upheld. This company use a written policy of 2 days after delivery to inform them of any damaged items. They refused to refund or replace broken tiles. Consumer law states that you are allowed 30 days to perform this after delivery during which time the tile company is legally responsable for the tiles damaged and are obliged to either refund or exchange the breakages in a timely fashion. The consumer YOU can give them the option to collect the damages at their own cost. Not good practice but great tiles and price.

What went wrong was a rude uninformed refusal and an ignored reply after I requested replacements as a gesture of good will after pointing out the rediculous unachievable policy of two days in relation to tile volume and installation times of my purchase to notice breakages. It is rediculous to think it is possible to examin every tile in a large or small order. This was my third purchase of these same tiles. I was sold on my second order tiles that where not in stock. This took weeks and an update request to be informed. The tiles where quickly sourced im guessing from within the company after a refund request was made. I was offered free tiles in case there where any breakages by being given all the remaining stock which where not sent.

This was my third purchase with 6 badly chipped large tiles others have been broken in the previous orders but tiler rescued them for cuts and placing under units. I have emails to confirm all of this and THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE.

The latest insult is a generic reply as seen, with an email requesting further information within 3 days. Still no response and I dont expect one.

Absolutely appalling service - Do not use!

Absolutely appalling service - Do not use!
We received an order from tiles-direct, and despite multiple attempts, two different tilers, three different methods of trying to fit the tiles, it was found to be impossible. The glaze/ceramic on the tiles was too brittle, and fell apart.
We requested a refund for these faulty tiles - to no avail. Multiple emails over the course of a month to them, including a formal complaint, which was ignored. Eventually got through on the phone to be told Sam the Manager would call me back that day at 5pm, never happened.

Complete cowboys.
Do not give them your business, they will take your money, give you a faulty product and run!

Poor description on cladding

Poor description on cladding. Ordered corners and face cladding both with same description on site. One was slate the other was quartz, not matching. To return I now have to organise and pay a pallet delivery myself. This left me short of cladding so ordered two more boxes which was charged thr same amount as pallet delivery, ridiculous two little boxes hand delivered and to make matters worse one box was opened and two pieces missing leaving me short for tht client. Rang to complain,sounded uninterested after it took hours of trying for someone to
answer a phone. Won't be buying from these again which is their loss as we install alot if cladding.

Good service

The tiles are great. Good quality, lively colour. They send them out quickly and communication over delivery is good. Arrived within two days. Prompt and quick response to an enquiry email I sent. Very happy. Thank you.

I wish I had read the reviews too!!

It states 2 to 3 working days.
5 days later, nothing. No eta.

No one picks up the phone. What’s the point of presenting a telephone number?

My building project is being held up whilst we wait for the tile order.

I have emailed several times. The only response I had was to request my order number even though my name and email address were available. No information given before or since.

Very frustrating.
Won’t use the company again.

Do not recommend. Not worth the headache

I do not recommend. Order was late and incomplete, absolutely no assistance in finding a solution, customer service is non-existent (completely unresponsive for weeks on end) and have lied to me to buy time. I am still waiting on a refund after months of promises and will be taking them to small claims court if there is no resolution in the next week. Will update my review when there is a resolution.

Don't be put off my the bad reviews!

I have had such a GOOD experience with this company so do not be put off. My sample arrived the next day and now I have ordered nearly a thousand pounds worth of tiles which have arrived when they advised, really good courier from Walkers who went out of his way to get to our property and we have no breakages. I have called the company three times for advice pre ordering and they have always picked up the phone. The prices are so good I am so glad we took the chance.

Wide range and Fast Delivery

After reading the reviews we were abit wary about placing an order from this company so i thought id give it a try and ordered some samples first. They came within 2 days and we really liked the tiles. Decided to go ahead and the tiles came 2 days later as well. The job has just been finished and the tiles look wonderful. We had 2 tiles broken and they gave a refund for them so I’m not going to complain and we ordered extra anyway. Will definitely order again.

Efficient Service Quality Product

Quality tiles, great customer service and fast delivery. I needed tiles urgently as another tile company had let me down so I called tiles direct told them about my situation.. i ordered tiles from them and they did not disappoint the tiles were delivered to me next day thank you tiles direct you have saved me a lot of money and time…would highly recommend to anyone and thank you once again.

Quick and professional

I ordered tiles and they came quickly with plenty of notice from the delivery company, one came damaged but was replaced straight away after sending a picture over. Will definitely go here again for further work.

Really poor service - avoid

Really poor service. Given 2-3 working days for delivery at time of order. No delivery confirmation three days later. Phoned and was told that they couldn't supply some of the tiles. Didn't bother trying to despatch the rest. Didn't bother letting us know. Now sat here with a tiler trying to find alternatives at short notice.

Majority of tiles were broken

Majority of tiles were broken when my builder opened them. Apparently I should have reported this within two days of receipt in order to be refunded or have them replaced. Worse than useless.
