Horrendous Broadband Service

I have had the worst experience with Vodafone trying to set up broadband. Ordered installation about a month ago and was told installation would happen a week after order was placed.
Installation date kept getting pushed back (from their side), I eventually gave up and cancelled which was almost 10 days ago.
I can’t order from another provider because Vodafone still have an order in process, and every time I contacted another provider their customer service they tell me it will be cancelled within 2-5 business days. Honestly, stay clear from them and their broadband. It’s not worth it.

Top-up does not work

Top-up does not work in the application on the site, too. I do not know how this can happen in such a big company. You are slackers. I do not recommend

Sean Vodaphone

This review is customer service orientated rather than the service. Although my Internet service is fast... Went into the Cavan store today the week before Christmas... The place was thronged however only one member of staff working and he handled it brilliantly.. Sean was brilliant he did not let his lack of help impact the customer experience he worked through everyone his skillset is wasted... Vodaphone I hope this young man gets the job he deserves leaving someone on his own in a busy store in the midst of Christmas is extremely lax... Well done Sean bad form Vodafone....

Vodafone broadband service is a scam

Vodafone broadband service is a scam. Quality is poor. You won’t be able to attend calls or watch movie with Vodafone’s pathetic broadband quality.There are so many issues with their Fibre optic as well. They will do any changes in their service and will automatically start new contract to bind you for another year. If moving house they won’t continue existing contract they will renew it for another year. If cancelling the service they will charge you for all remaining months irrespective of whether you are using it or not. Won’t recommend Vodafone.

Slow customer service - weeks for a solution

I've had their broadband for 2 years now and it's okay. There's times, especially in the evening when it's slow. We have a package so I didn't bother to switch.... However, over the last year I've had to deal with customer service and it's so unbelievably slow and requires multiple emails/calls even though we have a business account.... Like now, we haven't had internet access for 2 weeks!! And they still haven't sent a technician over. If you're small business, skip and go somewhere else!

The worst customer care ever.

Have spent 3 and half weeks without a tv connection. We have no TV over the Christmas holidays. Haven't responded to any of my emails since the 19th of December.
The worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not have anything to do with them.

Have fibre broadband for 2 years

Have fibre broadband for 2 years. Had various problems. The broadband has stopped again not going to get a technician to earliest 3/1/25. I work from home. I will have to find somewhere else to work from.

Very happy Customers I’ve been a Vodafone customer for many…

I’ve been a Vodafone customer for many many years. I have never met anyone as helpful and courteous as Dean in Blackrock. He has great patience with two elderly people who are far from technologically savvy. He solved both our problems with a smile. Dean is an asset to any company. He is usually based in Dundrum. We’re very glad he was in Blackrock today.

Misleading advertising

My Vodafone app said I was entitled to free upgrade of my samsung galaxy S21fe. On the appI selected S24fe which it said was free. When I clicked on it to buy it suddenly said Id have to pay 179.99euro. This to me is misleading advertising. I thought the offer was genuine as some of the other choices had prices on them but this was 1 of the one's supposedly free. Im a loyal customer of 3 years. Id have expected better from Vodafone. Most disappointed.

We have had no home WiFi for the last…

We have had no home WiFi for the last month or more...we keep getting told it will be sorted in 3 to 5 days... that was over a month ago...no one can tell us what the issue is.. its a different story every time we call..can't speak to a manager/supervisor we need to give 48hrs notice...terrible service providers

Most horrible provider i’ve ever been…

Most horrible provider i’ve ever been with , while i was in , it was fine but problems came about when i wanted to switch my provider. I’ve called , messaged emailed even went in store to UNLOCK my decide which wasn’t bought in vodaphone , then was told it can’t be done due to me not paying over €120 on top ups ( i was with them only couple months so it would be less than that ) But now i’ve had my phone locked for months on end with NO help and im desperate to unlock my phone as i can’t use any internet , i’ve had to carry a second phone to hotspot ! Horrible ignorant customer service DO NOT recommend. They did not show any support or suggests to what i have to do now to unlock my phone , it’s a ongoing issue ! Never ever ever am i going back , once i somehow get my device on locked my foot will never step in that shop again. If you don’t want problems , do not go to Vodaphone.

Do Not Get Broadband with Vodafone

Do Not Get Broadband with Vodafone. Tried to get broadband with them, because they done a good deal if you already had a mobile bill pay account. I regret that decision so much. Applied over the phone on the 11th of November and was promised I will be up and running on the 18th of November with super fast Fibre. Since then they have been sending me messages every week saying they have been delayed by a week, so nearly a month later and no internet. Customer Service refuse to provide a specific date of when it will be installed, requested a cancellation of the order, because that's a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting for an engineer to come out. Extremely poor service!

Avoid Mobile Broadband

I've been with Vodafone for broadband and up until recently my phone for a few years. I switched my Network to Sky as it was half the price of Vodafone. Unfortunately I'm stuck in a mobile broadband contract for a few more months and I'll be looking for an alternative as soon as I can. The connection is patchy at the best of times keeps disconnecting no matter where we try move it to in the house. We're also in Dublin so this shouldn't be an issue.

Just off the webchat with them...I was with them 4 years and I left with 2 weeks to go, mistook the end date but they still charged the early termination fee.. Greed, that's all it. I was going to return next year as I had told them but now I will never use their broadband again, prefer to pay double than to give them a penny more.

I have 1GB

I have 1GB, and for the most part getting 200 to 300mb, and some down to 40 or 50, when I rang them , they it was my devices that can't handle the speed, i need to upgrade. Stay away.

Abysmal service.

If there was a minus 10 I’d click it. Abysmal technology. Spent hours onto their call centre, plugging and unplugging devices per their instructions. Technician called out and said the boxes were faulty. Back onto Call Centre who argued they weren’t. After another season of on/off antics they admitted box was faulty. Technician called back with a new box. Before he even opened the packaging he said this won’t work. All the technicians reporting the same. I rang and cancelled. Requested broadband until we got a new supplier as we had paid in advance. That lasted 24 hours. They cut the broadband this afternoon.


Reporting them to ComReg in the morning and requesting a DSAR from them. Appalling company.

Give Dahab a raise

Dahab went out of his way to help in every way possible. Could not have done anymore.
I was going to change provider for the 6 people on my family plan when I had a bad experience in store but he restored my faith in the company and helped me get the products I was looking for at the right price

Shambles
